Cricket8 required a refreshed brand identity to strengthen its presence in the cricket news and analysis space. The project began with a clear goal: to create a Brand Style Guideline that modernized the visual identity while staying true to the brand’s credibility and authority. Comprehensive research was conducted to understand the target audience, exploring their preferences, expectations, and engagement habits. This was paired with a detailed analysis of competitors and market trends, revealing opportunities for Cricket8 to stand out and connect more meaningfully with its community.
With insights in hand, we developed a clear brand strategy by defining Cricket8’s unique selling proposition and core values, focusing on delivering insightful, reliable, and engaging cricket content. The creative process included mood board development to capture the intended tone and direction, followed by the exploration of multiple logo concepts. Each concept reflected different aspects of the brand’s personality, with the final design chosen for its ability to encapsulate Cricket8’s essence and resonate with its audience. This cohesive approach ensured the new brand identity would be both visually striking and strategically aligned.
